CSBBN February Marketplace Highlights

In celebration of Black History Month, the Cambridge-Somerville Black Business Network (CSBBN), in partnership with the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts, Cambridge Local First, Eastern Bank, and the Harvard Square Business Association, hosted the Show Your Love for Black-Owned Businesses Marketplace Pop-Up in Harvard Square.

Held at One Brattle Square (former Eastern Bank location) on Friday, February 6, and Saturday, February 7, the two-day, free event welcomed community members to shop and support more than a dozen local Black-owned businesses. Vendors offered a wide range of products, including handcrafted gifts, soaps, sauces, jewelry, bags, and more, creating a vibrant and welcoming shopping experience.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors—Beacon Capital Partners, the City of Cambridge, Eastern Bank, and the Harvard Square Business Association—the marketplace provided meaningful visibility for Black-owned businesses and a lively space for community connection.
